Our Story
The Human Bean was founded in 1998 with a commitment to developing the very best coffee drive-thru in Southern Oregon. Today, our franchise family spans hundreds of locations open and in development across the country.
More Than Twenty Years Ago...
The Human Bean Northern Colorado is proud to be locally owned and operated since 2004, comprised of eleven double-sided drive-thru locations.
Our friendly baristas are ready and waiting at our windows to serve you a delicious beverage or treat, whether you come see us daily, or stop by for a once-in-a-while special indulgence! We may be small on the outside, but we have a lot to offer! With over 75 different syrup flavors, dairy and non dairy options, a variety of drinks can be customized hot, iced, or blended. Now offering delivery and order-ahead at select locations. Giving back to our community is a priority and we are committed to making an impact through Thankful Thursdays, Guest Barista Days, Hosting drives and more.

YES, we have 5 roasts of brewed coffee available daily; YES we have Cortados and Americanos and Shaken Espresso; YES we have house made frozen coffee; YES our 20oz size comes standard with 4 shots of espresso; YES it can all be customized with a unique combination of our over 75 flavors (*regular and sugar free options), made-to-order cold foam, 4 non-dairy milk options and all-natural locally sourced cow’s milks. AND we also have: Our proprietary Bright energy line made using naturally derived caffeine from green coffee extract; AND 4 chai varieties (including locally sourced herbal and sugar free options); AND our long standing crowd pleaser: Frozen Hot Chocolate! AND locally sourced apple cider and lemonade. AND fruit smoothies with protein or energy. Options are truly endless and our team is ready to help craft your favorite!
